A lovely national park with large camp spots, clean toilets, hot showers in the portable shower block. Ideal easy access to walks and magnificent views of the warrumbungles. The visor centre staff are very friendly and helpful. We met the baby wombat they’re raising. We stayed 2 nights and did the spirey walk, goulds circuit,nature walk, Tara cave and white oak lookout. We planned to stay longer but due to the extreme heat/fire risk walks/remote camps are closed to 3/2/24 $24 per night unpowered

Absolutely wonderful campground. Lovely hot showers. Loads of wild life. Peaceful and scenic. Hiking trails long and short. Friendly staff at the visitors centre.
