Pay for a separate cooling room, very good, by the sea, quiet, many birds in the morning
A good park with a bunch of wildlife, the best place to visit the city, always plenty of space and conditions at height
Our favorite campsite of our trip! We had booked two nights and opted for a third. The location is very quiet, the campsite is large, the toilets and showers are very clean and numerous. Many games and facilities for children. On the edge of the campsite are a lake and beaches. The sunset is magnificent. The buses to Sydney are just a short walk, as are the shops. Nothing to say! We paid between $65 and $74 per night for two people with electricity.
We chose this campsite because of its proximity to Sydney. While having a 4x4 offers plenty of options for setting up camp, the service was abysmal. We tried the after-hours check-in, which didn't work at all. Everything was supposed to be on file at reception, but it wasn't. This meant we had to enter the campsite without a gate code, without any information about our pitch, and without codes for the restrooms!
A large, quiet campsite despite its proximity to the road. The pitches are equipped with artificial turf for seating. You can take bus B1 to Sydney or bus 199 and the Manly ferry – both excellent options. There's a children's playground and several swimming spots nearby. The only downside was the cleaning of the showers, which left something to be desired. They should be cleaned more frequently; perhaps then users would treat them with more care.
My favorite campsite so far! Traveling with 3 kids under 5. You have option to swim in the ocean, rock pool - 5 min walk or beautiful sandy lake(river?) next to camping - kids can walk in for 30 meters and it doesn’t get too deep! It is perfect for little ones! And the sunset here ♥️
Fantastic place with good facilities. Close to beach and lagoon with shops nearby too. Easy access to the city either on B1 bus or 199 bus to Manly and then ferry into the harbour.
Not Pet Friendly, only 1 of two caravan parks in area. So wrong. Dirty amenities. And expensive.
Stayed 3 nights for our first family caravan trip, I recommend it with out a doubt. In walking distance of everything. Toilets where clean, make sure kids take a bike./scooter. Walk to rock pool and beach. The only thing is not to stay on road side sites as the roads become very noisey of a night time. Definitely would return though now know what sites to ask to stay at.
