The staff and facilities are great. Kind helpful caretakers. Clean hot showers and great location. We ended up staying longer as everything was so easy. GED

We stayed there several times during a month-long work trip. The best showground we've tried so far. Excellent shower and relatively clean restrooms. Nice and functional kitchen. Unpowered undercover available for rooftop tents, essential and rare during this rainy season. Friendly, pleasant, and accommodating staff; we would gladly return if needed. We highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Alstonville Showgrounds! The grounds were beautifully kept with lush, green grass and the facilities were spotless. The bathrooms and showers were always clean. I was surprised to read a negative review because that was nothing like my experience. I could tell that the caretakers took safety and privacy very seriously. I have no doubt that if they needed to remove someone for unsavoury behaviour, it was done to protect the comfort and wellbeing of all guests.

Very bad experience. The staff, unpleasant, shouted at me and spoke to me like a child while I was waiting in front of the women's showers for my girlfriend to bring me some shower gel. I understand that we need to put things in order, but there is a way to talk to customers. Washing machines almost all out of order and dirty. Refusal to let us take shelter under the covered porch in the middle of a storm. Campsite infested with bats and spiders. Only positive points: clean showers and toilets. Avoid!

Everything is very familiar and also great value for money. (Everything clean, no problems with electricity and water)

Arrived just before 5pm a few nights ago, caretaker was just about to close up but was lovely and accomodating for us to come and stay. Paid p/night for unpowered site, with clean showers and toilets! It was also quiet at night - Big win for us. Very happy with our stay here and would recommend going here rather than pay a bomb in Byron.

Caretaker very lovely, lots of place, grass. Toilets cleans and hot shower. 4$ washing machine. There is a kitchen too. A little noisy because of bats and birds. Arrive before 5pm.
