Stopped over for one night on way to Gold Coast . We Hated the people tail gaging on the main road .. Real lunatics ! Once you turn off the main Road there’s a a few kms of betunan then it’s rough all the way to the campground. .. The grounds it self were very nice although it gets crowded with families and kids... And the grounds are next to each other. The road into the camp ground is Not for any vehicle. You need at least good AT tyres as it’s full of rocks , holes and a few crests. It takes for ever to reach the CampGround due to the bad road condition so don’t do it in the dark or in a hurry !!! Enjoy !!!
Camp ground was fantastic, there are two electric BBQ’s, a fire pit and toilets. There IS a water tap by the toilets but it was a slow drip more than anything. Kookaburras stole some of our chicken but other than that all good! Plot 1 recommended
Do-able in 2WD but be very careful as the road there is long and uneven. Cool drive through the rainforest and you truly feel like you’re in the wilderness when you get there, would recommend!
Worst road ever(about 7km). Road surface is super uneven. You havr to drive very slow if you have a 2wd car. Many fire box for BBQ. There's a track near the site, which is beautiful but badly maintained. 6 AUD per person and 8 extra for your car.
Beautiful rural campsite. Is doable in a 2wd but the road is unpaved and has some big potholes (don't go in a v. Low car). Great bbqs and fire pits everywhere to have open fires ?? lots of wallabies/goannas around.
