Superbly located campsite, right in the center, quiet location. Private beach access! Powered site $77 Unpowered $67 Everything was really very clean, including the kitchen! I highly recommend it!

Great location. Not the cheapest in town but not the most expensive. Paid for unpowered off peak (31st May - 3rd June). We usually try and find the cheapest option but decided we were happy to pay the extra to be so close to town. Only a few minutes walk to the CBD and the beach gave us a lot more freedom to go out for dinner and drinks without worrying about parking or getting back to camp. The amenities are definitely not modern - despite what they claim on their website, but they were kept clean. The only disappointment really was the showers, while they were clean the shower heads were not very good. Kitchen is basic but has everything you need apart from an oven.

The location is unbeatable. The campsite is located right on the beach and offers reasonably priced surfboard hire. Staff were VERY friendly and helpful. Not tons of room on unpowered sites but just enough for our campervan and chairs.

We had a great pitch with electricity, a direct sea view and next to the exit to the beach. Unfortunately, that was all positive. We were there over Christmas. Then you should be able to expect something. The plumbing was disgusting, always sandy and the toilets look like they haven't been cleaned in months. The washing machines were full If we hadn't had this parking space, I would have been bitterly disappointed.

But it was worth it! So many young and friendly people! The Campingplace is in the middle of byron bay, which is perfect! The Amanitys are clean! You have two beach access. Would highly recommend!
