45 dollars for a powered site, between lots of cabins. Not very nice. Directly in front of it is a shelter where workers meet to drink beer. Showers are a bit old, clean if you don't look in the corners. One night is enough.
A great place to unwind. Plenty of grassy areas for both powered/unpowered campsites. Amenities are are little dated, but nice and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place
Wonderful stay. Cheap unpowered site, not too noisy considering it’s close to the highway, clean amenities especially camp kitchen. Friendly staff :)
Booked a cabin and advised we required a pet friendly room. Received an email to say we had been allocated a different cabin and there would be extra charge. I was ok with that. However, despite this park’s website stating credit card to be charged on arrival, we had already been charged for a more expensive room, with additional pet surcharge, prior to checking in. Eventually got that sorted out, but the management tried to blame the booking agency - pretty clearly NOT their fault though. Not impressed with the property - very rundown bathroom facility - old and smelly with cracked walls, in need of an immediate update. The kicker after we left was a phone call accusing us of removing a blanket! There was no blanket in the room to start with, not that the girl who insisted it was “missing” was interested in hearing that. Budget property with very budget attitude.
OK for one night but no more. Noisy during the day because of the sawmill next door and the road. And the showers are a bit rustic. On the other hand, the staff is very friendly, we got a discount.
It is convenient to stay 1 night. The site locates not far from the Pacific highway, and a wood factory. It is quite noise at night.
The campsite was generally okay for passing through. But I've seen nicer campground operators. Especially since it rained a lot and I got an unpowered spot in the mud. At other campsites, you could have parked on a powered spot with a fixed plate. BBQ and gas stove. The pool is quite interesting, inviting for a quick swim.
WiFi does not work unless you are close to the office. Nice pool, alittle dirty. Clean amenities.
Our stay was pleasant in this Nice quiet caravan park.Toilets clean and tidy,BBQ,S clean and with everything you need to cook your meal. We stayed 4 nights, very very reasonable, close to town. Will come again.
If you have the choice, look a little further for a campsite. The toilets and showers in particular are very old and out of date. Okay, it's tidy and clean, but that's not enough for a pleasant stay. On the other hand, it must be said that $ 29 for a powerend site is not a lot of money.
