Our favorite stay ever! Amazing location with sea view, friendly staff, clean & modern amenities. We could easily stay longer!
Very well maintained campground. You have the choice of a sea view of shade.. Short walk to Rainbow beach or even shorter walk to the rock pools and small bay down a track from the campground. Very friendly staff.
That camping it’s the worse one we ever stayed in Australia. Very disappointed. We got there the lady at the reception said we were the last ones to do the check in at that day. I thought okay it’s very full at that stage. When we saw the spot we couldn’t believe it. She gave us the worse spot at the grass camping area. We walked around and saw the empty camping so we went back to her to kind request the possibility to swap the spot. Even offer to pay more if was necessary. She was not so happy and told us to go around again and tell her the number that was empty so she would check. We have her and she said no sorry that’s booked. Well doesn’t make sense as we were the last ones getting there. Long story short she refused to change us to a decent spot. As we paid in advance we ended up staying anyway to don’t waste our money. We paid 70 dollars for A DAY total of 140 dollar for an old grass area for a tent. Joke at that stage. She said was better if someone staid for a week not only for 2 days. The place was empty Everyone who was there when we got there left next morning. We staid for 2 days and not even a mosquito did a new check in. We travelled for a month, that was the end of our trip and suppose to be the best spot but unfortunately she ruined completely our whole month. My parter spent the 2 days unbelievable with the situation as the camping was empty and we ended up on an old grass area with water coming in as we were at the hill. The beach in front it’s really not the best either. The toilet was dirty. We didn’t feel safe as the whole camping is open and just on a roadside. Very dangerous to cross to buy some goods as you cannot really spot the cars coming on the hill. I would defo not recomende and would never ever go back again. Thanks lady to ruin our trip :/ If the camping was full was completely understandable but an empty whole was a big joke.
Absolutely beautiful. Well manicured lawns and gardens and water views galore. All amenities were very clean and staff very friendly. General store, bottle shop, takeaway and service station just across the road. Pet friendly park and beaches. Could not fault anything.
Top conditioning, clean showers and toilet very nice view
By far the best caravan park so far on our drive from Sydney to Brisbane. Almost all sites have ocean view, toilets are clean, kitchen has all facilities, people around are nice and friendly - what more can one expect. It’s really peaceful and beautiful out here.
Loved it here, great ocean views. We paid $40. A night off season. Clean amenities and camp kitchen. Very friendly magpies and butcher birds.
Nice holiday park but quite overpriced at $40 for a grass site for 1 night in low season. Facilities clean and well kept. Staff are lovely. Close to beach. Bring insect repellent.
Great reception, even though was told that I could go to a different caravan park as I said that’s a bit expensive. Everything is really clean, wonderful view but too expensive $97 one night unpowered site for 2 adults and two kids 6 and 12. In a camper van. We try to use a caravan so we don’t spent in hotels but at this price could nearly rent a room lol. Which shouldn’t mater how many kids we are still all staying in one caravan using one spot. Couldn’t sleep into the caravan as we had a huge thunderstorm and a lot of wind nearly lost the roof of my top up caravan. Although we slept in the kitchen of the park. That’s nice but not for me too expensive!!! I think between $40 and $45 a night would be reasonable.
Great reception and view. You can see the ocean direct from the rv. It depends on which site you take though. Fercilities are clean and multiple dump sites available. $46 per day makes sense!
