Amazing campsite next to the beach very pretty and clean. However you need a high clearance 4WD for this campsite. all pitches are great except pitch 6 which is very uneven so do not book this site(which we unfortunately did). It’s not clear when booking the campsite that you also need to buy a car pass from NSW website also.
Amazing campground! We choose to extend our stay and it was no problem. The camp managers were super friendly and helped us with so much during our stay. Clean toilets. 4 mins walk to the creek and 600m from the beach. Highly recommend!
Loved this campground, you have to book online at the National parks website. The facilities are minimal but clean. I wouldn't suggest a 2 wheel drive come to this place thou as the road can be rough.
We took a 19’ van semi off-road no problem. Got the best site no. 26 ? The camp ground s are shaded, have a fire pit with wood, picnic table & toilet. You supply the rest. Beach & creek for the day. Beach fishing. Drive on the beach; relax We had a good time but…take plenty of bug off( sand flies)
Lots of holes on the track to the campingground but not impossible. New prices : 12$ per adult + 8$ per vehicle. Wasn't worth it to stay there for this money.
Was there during the late 1980s was great for fishing and swimming
Pretty good site. First attempt the creek was too deep, that was from the south entrance. Second attempt was from the north, much easier was able to just go around half in the creek half on the dirt. Ranger came by most morning to sus stuff out and collect money. Nice bloke. A Holden Barina got there from the north entrance. Nice site. Free wood. Bring kindling. Bring water. Loads of fresh water.
Impossible to access without a 4WD: a huge puddle blocked the way, impossible to judge depth. We dared not cross. Too bad , it seemed nice.
