Great campground. It comes highly recommended. Not too big or commercialised. Beautiful grassy campsites. You can’t fault the facilities. Really friendly staff. Attracts a lot of fishermen as they can moor their boats on the river right near their campsite. A narrow footbridge takes you across the river to a surf beach. A small collection of shops is very close by. But bring your insect repellant.

Top Place To stay. The Campground is directly on the River To the Ocean and the People are very very friendly. 32 $ for one night with Wifi and 2 People for a powered Site.

A very, very beautiful place. There are pelicans by the lake. Not far after crossing the bridge is a beach with no end in sight. 35 a night

What a great little spot, great view of the river from the park, cheap sites and cabins. Quiet with no kids around. River and beach fishing. Short walk to shops and cafes. Pet friendly out of school holidays. We will be back.

Lovely spot with great showers and BBQ area. Convenient store just outside the site with everything we needed. Place can be a bit busy even outside school holidays but the people were so friendly! Salt water river along the campground where you can sometimes see dolphins, sting rays & other sea life. Decently priced. Overall great stop!

We've stayed here a few times. Lovely riverside sites with grassed areas and bbqs on the riverbank where you can swim in the shallow water, fish, kayak or just watch the pelicans and dolphins. A 10 minute walk to the beautiful uncrowded beach, good amenities and only a few minutes walk to the small shopping centre. Dog friendly outside school holidays. A lovely spot,.
