Great path, definitely over 1km long. But it's worth it! At the end you can even go to a beach. Recommendation :-)
Amazing little walk! If you’re close, definitely recommend to come here.
Would definitely recommend. The mangrove forest is beautiful. We saw some pelicans and big lizards along the walk.
A really lovely walk. It’s definitely worth having a pit stop in Urunga just to walk along the boardwalk
What’s lovely walk! The board walk starts near the caravan park, there is one car park as you enter the caravan park on a public access road and another the other side of the caravan park where there are picnic tables and toilets. Best to visit at low tide and you see the soldier crabs, the Fidler crabs and the fish in the muddy pools left by the tide. But it’s a different and interesting experience too when the tide when high. Suitable for wheel chair bound people but the board walk is too narrow for mobility scooters and bikes. Dogs on a leash are allowed and the beach at the end is dog friendly too. In winter often whales can be seen. Take some water with you on a warm day, the walk is around 1km long. Best part of Urunga! So worth the walk
