Great park. Paid a night for an unpowered site. We stayed right on the river in an unpowered site. The amenities were clean and tidy and the lady at the desk was super helpful. We saw dolphins and sting ray swimming past in the river. The pool is nice to cool off in. Laundry facilities well maintained and cheap. They have clothes lines so you can save on a dryer. Everything we needed!
The lady lied to us that there was not availability because we are from Victoria even if we spent 3 weeks in NSW we are not from Melbourne and left Victoria before the lockdown.
Stayed here as a solo traveler. Staff were so helpful, Park was full but I was lucky to get the last powered site and was a drive through so I was happy with that. There are new concrete annex slabs on the river front sites, but you have to be good at reversing cos they are set well back. These sites also are a fair walk to the amenities so best to have your own en-suite in your van. The others sites are grassed and some can be a little tight to reverse into. Caravan park is in the river so has it’s own boat ramp and place to tie your boat up. Many permanent cabins makes the park a little claustrophobic away from the river front. Amenities have had a bit of in up grade, they are clean and well maintained. Only down side is there are no shelves to put anything on so take a bag so you can hang it up. Park is pet friendly. Urunga only has a Spar grocery shop no big supermarket. The board walk is spectacular and well with going at high tide and low.
Price/quality = great 35$ for a powered campsite (4p) Clean amenities!
It is a nice campsite which is next to the river. It's a good value $20 for an unpowered Campervan. Definitely will come back here again.
Very nice place, $ for a un powered site for 1 night, but you have to pay if you want to use the bbq. Amenities are small but clean, the place is very quiet , close to the river . Perfect to have a rest !
Best place we have stayed so far! ?
Not a bad spot to spend a few days relaxing. Near the water and close to town. Will be back. Kev from woolgoolgaoffroad
The lady in the reception was kind, but the amenities are very old and hook up even can be dangerous.
One of our favourite stops on our trip so far! $20 for an unpowered site literally on the banks of the river was a dream. Really calm and quiet, with clean toilets and showers. Kitchen was well stocked and huge, but be aware that use of the BBQ costs! A really lovely place, we wish we could have stayed for longer!
