Where else can you get a campsite, toilets, hot showers AND a hot thermal pool for $5 a vehicle?! Big ups to the Walgett Shire Council for providing this facility - and there is plenty of room, about 40 vehicles only filled just over half the space, and it’s a LARGE hot pool to relax in at the end of the day. Highly recommended.
Thermal pool sits about 40c. Get in early with the mist rising from the water and before the algae gets too stirred up from everyone. The showers aren't heated, the water comes straight from the pool. Non-potable taps scattered around for wasing and drinking water available from the rain water tank in the pool area, clean flushing toilets, book swap, fenced off area for dogs to run around in, camp fires allowed with wood available from caretaker for $15. Pool is 1.8m deep so bring a pool noodle
Great spot especially for $5.00 per night, Toilets showers and dump point as well as awesome Artesian water to soak in. Caretaker on site. If in the area please support Wee Waa. Awesome bakery with delicious food. Great supermarket as well as chemist and medical centre. Lots of others as well. Great town and friendly community
Had 10 days here. Love the big skies and the thermal Pool. Caretaker on site doing a great job. Our ‘go to’ place where we get away and catch up on administrative work. Very cold at night so really appreciate our diesel heater.
Lovely baths and hot showers available. There’s also bore water taps available around the camp site. Camping is on gravel and can get quite crowded on weekends and school holidays but everyone is respectful. Easy drive in with any size vehicle and space for all. No bookings needed. Pay the campsite caretaker and get a receipt with your number plate.
Stayed one night bath’s are excellent worth the drive and stay $ a night with tap water JOW
Excellent camp spot for any size rig , plenty of room off the road and good quality mineral baths
