Nice campground. Long drop toilets. Dont expect much. But at perfect spot in between nature a beautiful visit and wild life. Also the startpoint of the Clarke gorge hike(definitely worth going) 4km return with 9 water crossings but pretty simple. With a waterfall at the end. Also the startpoint of nicholl walk less impressive but caves a great to explore. No phonesignal anywhere in the park and you need a permit to drive in the park and an additional 6 AUS booking fee. Book before exitting B72
Driving into the camp site during sunset was sensational! Wild horses to cute bunnies roaming around! Stayed at the blue waterhole campground 10 mins before the actual waterhole. Fire set ups, tables and clean toilets with paper available. Aside from a giant spider during dinner all was well! This also has been best camp site hands down. Freedom, nature and peace everywhere!!
Favorite campsite, hands down, that we've EVER been to. Absolutely beautiful landscape and surround, campsite overlooks a valley where kangaroos and brumbies (horses) can be seen. We sat in our camp chairs and had a mama and joey not 1m from us!! The brumbies also came up to the campsite after dark and we're playing and wandering around looking for scraps. Be sure to put everything away at night if you don't want them scattering it all over! Blue Waterhole trail & Clark Gorge trail are 100% worth doing, incredibly beautiful.
Beautiful and peaceful place to relax, the blue water hole and the scenery is just fantastic to see.
Breathtaking! A very popular area with plenty of trees for shade. Three walking tracks of varying lengths and difficulties are accessible. Lots of native fauna including kangaroos, wallabies and emus. Brumbies will come into camp each morning and each evening. Drop toilets and camp fires. Please take your rubbish home. #Beachbushandbackroads.
