Wonderful free camp! In the middle of nature, quiet with beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding forest. On the road to access the campsite we were able to observe dozens of kangaroos (drive slowly as they cross the road)! We really enjoyed this relaxing place and highly recommend it if you are looking for peace and nature. Fireplaces and toilets, be sure to take your waste with you to protect the place
Beautiful spot by the lake with individual fire pits. Nice walks to the lake side with eucalyptus trees, birds and kangaroos.
Nice shady campground. Even better if you have a 4wd. There’s one great spot with a view of the Dam. Drop toilets. Some uneven ground. Camp Joanna down the road is much nicer
Beautiful campground ! Lake is magnificient. If you have a 4wd, i would recommend you to go all the way to camp by the lake :) 4wd highly advised.
Ok for a car and camper trailer but don’t recommend taking a van in there as we did (huge mistake) the best camping for a van of any size is the next two camps down The road Yachting point is awesome highly recommend that one!
Lovely space very private and not too crowded in January. Kangaroos and beautiful sunsets, one drop toilet no water but good shade, very isolated and quiet
Plenty of room but only half a dozen marked sites. Access to water is possible but not easy. Plenty of shelter from trees. Heaps of Kangaroo's drink from the dam during the evening. Access to the campground is via a bridge which crosses over the highway. #Beachbushandbackroads
A lot of kangaroos in the evening, you can go down to the sea to have a swim. Some people were a bit strange, but they are changing!
Great place to stay. Sooooo many spots, many people miss this campsite as they want to explore down the river. This has a mix of water and bush campsites! Fire pits and toilets are here too
