Beautiful quiet spot with wallabys and kangaroos. Need to pay online in advance. Ranger comes around and checks. Some sites closed as it was verry muddy in some areas. Toilets are drop pits but relatively clean
Need book online on NSW national Park website. Doesn't have shower and water. Bush camping
Closed because of bushfires
Stayed one night here, unfortunately went to the last camping area with no sandy beach, pebbles but still a good spot to camp. Bush land all around. Drop toilets well maintained and clean, the young man that looks after the sites does a great job in keeping the sites tidy. Site fee of $12 per person per night, only facility drop toilets, no water on site. Road in is steep in places and may be difficult to negotiate with 2 wheel drive in the wet.
Beautiful camp ground! One of our favourite spots to visit.
Proper wilderness campground with just bbq and drop toilet as the facilities. There are several discrete areas to choose from, so you can get some real space if it’s quiet. It’s a really peaceful spot - we saw wallabies and echidnas, plus it’s great for whale watching (in season). $12pppn. Pay cash to the ranger who comes round. 3km down unsealed road but perfectly driveable in a 2wd.
This was a wonderful place to stop overnight. Toilets available. In Mimosa Rocks NP so paid $25 to ranger who came around. Lovely quiet beach and walk to Mimosa Rocks. Road in quite corrugated and steep in parts. 12 km unsealed but worth it!
