Good place, little camping but looks beautiful, good warm shower and clean bbq area with the view on the pool, quiet place and the price is 40$ for an unpowered site for one night ( 45$ for a powered one ). No wi-fi but signal is good.
Avoid. No phone signal or WIFI. Don’t book. This campsite should not be listed on here! It is actually a very run down trailer park, with a pool, kitchen, showers, and laundry room which have not been updated since 1980s. There’s a vending machine with a metal cage round it. Apparently there was a drug dealer murder here. Full of perm residents in caravans. Pls read Google reviews AND OWNER RESPONSES too. Says it all… Sad I booked. Waste of money and so expensive for awful amenities. Avoid.
Avoid avoid avoid Arrived late afternoon and left swiftly afterwards Overall the camp is very unclean and some unsavoury permanent residents Didn’t feel safe here Definitely book elsewhere (https://amp.abc.net.au/article/102903082)
The camp kitchen is really dirty, and at 7am someone played music really loud Toilets are clean and it has a tiny pool
Super friendly and nice.
This place is excellent. Stayed here with the family for a week in the yellow cabin and everybody enjoyed it. It’s so clean, beds are comfortable. The camp kitchen is a great central location to meet other travellers. The owners were full of helpful information for us and were so great with our kids. It’s directly across the road from palm beach which is a waveless beach and only goes to waistline, perfect. We have already re booked to come back ?
Great campsite, we stayed, left and came back a week later. Bargain price plus a pool. The owner is very friendly and was 10x more helpful and informative than the tourist information
Friendly staff, affordable unpowered site (24$ during public holiday) but the site is not very nice you are surrounded by caravans or the road or the kids playground. Very nice place for BBQ on the beach when you cross the road.
Staff aren't that accommodating. When you book it doesn't mention anything about the $40 late fee if you arrive after business hours. Facilities are ok, some campers can be a bit noisy but that's the luck of the draw, right?
