A very nice campsite with lots of kangaroos. The toilets, showers, and campsite kitchen were very clean. Some of the hiking trails were closed or flooded, and it's highly recommended to use insect repellent as there are many mosquitoes. However, the trails were generally very well marked. The home-brewed beer at the bar is excellent.
Kangaroos on the grounds! No cell phone signal. Different water connections than any of the previous campsites we've been to.
Great site with a wake-up call with kangaroos and sunrise over the lake. Late arrivals are possible; we'll leave your information at reception. Please note: checkout is strictly at 10 a.m. And definitely, no signal on site!
“Thank you for staying with us. We hope ot see you again.”
We stayed one night to see the kangaroos and I’d say that’s a good way to do it! The facilities are pretty average and lots of kids on the site. The road to get to the campsite was covered in huge pot holes too. Phone signal was a bit patchy too
The location is amazing! Loads of kangaroos around and a great spot to watch the sunrise. The amenities are poor however, the showers really aren’t great and the kitchen is not the cleanest. Would definitely recommend for 1 night just to see the kangaroos.
The pitches are quite large, which is nice. The free-roaming kangaroos are also very friendly. There's only one kitchen for all the slots, and it's difficult to access, as some people treat the kitchen like a living room, leaving no space. The kitchen sinks were also disgusting.
We spent 3 nights (for $147) on a pitch without electricity with our van, it was a great stay. The pitches are clean, well demarcated, the lake is close to the pitches, the toilets are always clean, the kitchen area too (with fridge, toaster, small oven, 2 planchas and sinks). The best part of this stay is the different animals that roam freely around the campsite (duck, birds and kangaroos).
Had a wonderful 2-day stay here. The area is beautiful and the campground is nice as well. At this place you are paying for the views, not for the facilities - the facilities were fine but was expecting better for the price. Overall it was a good stay though. Deffo get up for sunrise to see the kangaroos on the beach!! They also have a free wifi in the main area, it isn’t very good though.
Spent the weekend here, great spot to see kangaroos roaming freely, bathrooms and showers were very clean. Could easily rent out kayaks and canoes, unfortunately the water only went up to my knees but still kinda refreshing. Would highly recommend
Extraordinaire camping pleine nature !
