Staff friendly and helpful and facilities are excellent. Disappointed in the sewerage smell coming from the open septic tank cover near our site. Found it very unusual to have an amenities block closed for cleaning at 8am. The power went out at 1.30am and was very hit and miss after that. The bats did not worry us as we were warned to pick a site well clear of them.

Excellent caravan park and roadhouse. $45 two adults powered site. Clean and modern amenities. Hot water with good pressure. Get in early - before 1 pm as no booking and no allocation of sites. Some sites were unusable due to the number of flying foxes in the trees. No tentpegs allowed at powered sites. Roadhouse food was excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. Amazing beer garden and amenities as well as shop at the Roadhouse. $5 drinks happy hour 4 to5pm. Felt like an urban bistro.

There was no phone signal (Woolworths mobile) but the staff provided us with free wifi. There is a restaurant inside we didn’t eat there but it seemed to be a good place to dine in. The facilities looked quite new. Can be noisy during the night/day when road trains are passing the highway. All in all we had a comfortable stay.

I can only agree with the good reviews: a surprisingly beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. It's absolutely worth staying here! Not just because it has a great campsite with everything you need. The ambience is great! Everything is very well maintained and nicely decorated in the Roadhouse, great live music and the food is very delicious. The people were very friendly. I felt really comfortable and enjoyed it. I can highly recommend it!

I didn’t spend the night here, but I was floored by how modern and clean the facilities were, at least on the public-facing restaurant side: immaculate tiles, gift shop, art gallery, outdoor sculptures, a flock of guinea fowl… not to mention the $26 Big Barkly Breakfast was delicious! It felt like I was in an airport, lol.

You've hit GOLD when stopping here! Excellent live music from a Tasmanian Band over happy hour. Perfect facilities and the best roadhouse restaurant we'd been to for miles

What an amazing spot in the middle of nowhere! Everything here that you need - fuel, food, some grocery items, gourmet foods, gifts & kids toys!!!! Big park with drive through sites for one nighters. $40 pn powered. Pet friendly. Takeaway available for guests & happy hour 4-5pm $5 beer & wine. Immaculate facilities at the bistro area & in camp. Dump point & laundry.
