Meh! Well-known for its pub, which is quite pleasant, especially thanks to the music in the evenings... The reputation is a bit overrated because the campsite is rather cramped, so the pitches aren't very big and are quite expensive. One night is enough!
Theme park/ circus. Better off at other places north or south if you want to experience an authentic Aussie pub.
What can I say? The craziest campsite we’ve ever been on. $30 unpowered. Very, very crowded, no space between campers. Good showers/toilets and adequate washing up Smelly. Nothing else. Live country and western music at the pub which we could hear very well in our camper. No drinking water. A short historic walk. The staff were all (except the man telling you which site (?!? Space) you could have) from other countries. Very efficient and friendly. Would we do it again? No. Glad we did It!
$38/night unpowered, very crowded, 4km from highway so no road noise.
Fantastic outback pub. Great entertainment and well run. Great place to stay over in camper. Friendly staff.
Lovely pub & history. Beef ‘n Barra good. Nice facilities & atmosphere. Entertainment.
Very good staff Sympatic pub No wifi for information
Quirky town consisting of a pub that puts on a great dinner, entertainment, interesting memorabilia and collectibles. Pool is beautiful to cool off in. Fellow campers great to chat with. Camping spots aren't huge but you're not here just to sit around your van. Live music finished at 9pm and town was quiet after that. Highly recommend!
Beer was cold, friendly staff and quite a few things to see. Nice stop but a bit overrated. Take away beer $100 -but you have to do what you have to do ?
Iconic pub and a must-stay on Stuart Highway. Great fun, good entertainment, great food. Great for meeting people..
