The road into Lorella is in poor condition, with three gates to open along the 21kms of dirt/badly corrugated road into the park. Poor excuse given they have their own grader. The camping areas are huge and you can take your pick of spots. Because we arrived near the end of the dry season many waterfalls and swim holes were dry., and the camping areas were mainly dust bowls. The amenities blocks were just adequate. No wash basins/mirrors in toilet blocks and only plastic curtains between cubicles. And hot water is produced by lighting a wood fire outside - you have to provide the wood. Pretty poor for the fee paid for two. Happy hour starts at 5pm and you get discount for your drinks. The meals in the restaurant are at the same price ea whether you have fish and chips or a steak, and the cheapest wine is Jacobs Creek. You pay cheaper a bottle from the bottle shop!!! Im sure it’s worth a visit after the wet season, but we won’t be back to find out! And if you pay with PayWave you get slugged bank fees!!! Make sure you swipe your card! No internet as advertised and if you want to make a phone call you can get Telstra access for fee per hour or per day. Well marketed property, just didn’t deliver!

Lorella is 4wd Territory but with care 2 wheel drives have been known to make it. Thermal spring near homestead and camp area.... 1million acres to explore if you are right vehicle. We love it... Dust and bumps and all

Almost 200kms of corrugated dirt road to get into Lorella. Nice enough place but not worth the drive. Very remote. Water available from around the homestead and nice swimming holes.
