Very noisy with loud music from the bar most of the day. Facilities are poor Expensive for what you get
We stayed for two nights and paid $140. Location was great being so close to the Gorge and the tours. The swimming pool was a welcome sight due to the extreme heat. That is where it stops, I'm afraid. For the two nights we stayed, we shared our facilities with around 40 school kids each night. Unacceptable as a paying customer. The whole place needs a serious upgrade. The showers were disgusting and old. We were glad to leave and won't return I'm afraid.
The most expensive site we’ve ever stayed on (Uluru and Kings Canyon were up there with good reason) $60 per night unpowered for 2 of us. Yes, it was good to be near Nitmulik NP. However, the showers were the worst ever. One hook and absolutely nowhere to keep things dry. Very dirty. Not cleaned the 2 days we were there. Lots of tents and nothing to cook on except a bbq. A microwave, kettle and 2 toasters completed the sub standard kitchen. WiFi didn’t work. Old and very tired and very expensive
Quite expensive park, 70 dollars for a spot with electricity. But we didn't have to leave at 10 the next day. We were allowed to walk first, use the pool and shower. We didn't leave until around 13:00. Lovely pool where you could stay until 20:00. The reception was also open until 19:00. Despite the price, definitely recommended!
Arrived Thursday and left on the Saturday. Amenities not clean when we arrived and still not cleaned when we left. Ladies toilets bins overflowing including the sanitary bins. Men's toilet doors had no locks. Laundry was filthy. Very disappointing for the $$ you pay.
We forgot to pay (oops) but stayed in trouble! Extra swimming in large pool with waterfall a few minutes walk away. Optus network ok, toilets and hot showers. Small walk possible to see the local waterfalls.
A bit expensive, 2 people powered 80AUD and that without shade. Nice pool area with a bar. Showers & toilets clean.
The most expensive park that we have stayed in ($30 per person unpowered). There were kitchens but NO gas bbqs. Nice pool. Reception has long opening hours and it's possible to book the boat tours from here. Convenient location for the boat trips. I would highly recommend the walk to the plunge pool and taking the ferry home.
Expensive site but excellent location. Very convenient for early dawn cruise. Stayed 1 night on powered site... Bitumen surface. Quiet. Pool excellent. Bathroom facilities good.
pool closed for maintenance. No cooking equipment (or broke equipment) and no free wifi. Lovely and quiet though with lots of wildlife
