It was ok - we did not use toilets ... mosquitoes were scarce, but the nearby river was also dry. You have to be careful, there are big spiders everywhere. And we were surrounded by bushfires, but that was no problem ...
Mozzies, bugs, fires and smoke AND you have to pay 6$ for it and say thank you...
You will be eaten by mosquito's and other bugs, and annoyed by a lot of flies. Toilet is just a covered up hole. The location is great, we were there with only 2 other cars. Unfortunately almost every highlight was closed in Kakadu National Park.
Very nice little campsite, was also the only open when we were there. However, you will be eaten by mosquitoes in the morning despite mosquito nets.
Very cheap, beautiful spot. Great for stargazing and toilets were fine. Lots of flies, would recommend departing close after sunset.
Fantastic! Cheap $6/night per person camping with well looked after long drop with plenty of toilet paper. Carpark had lots of space for campers to spread out. We arrived before sunset and walked to top of hill nearby for 10-15mins to reach peak and catch beautiful sunset views. No mosquitos a few tiny flies in morning. Highly recommend for camper van.
Two non flush toilets, a number of picnic tables and fire pits. Cost is $6.00 per adult or $15 for a family. Lots of trees and a look out 800m.
