Lovely campground however showers were out of order. Potentially the campground has run out of water as water was very brown.
What a wonderful experience! The road to it, the campsite are beautiful and quiet. The waterfall is breathtaking. For that you have to cross a rocky footpath,
Our best camping experience in the Northern Territory. Need to book in advance through parks government website only. Small campsite (14 spots) was fully booked. They will send you away when not booked as people that have booked can always still turn up. There were hosts to assist, help or ask questions about walks etc. Thank you Rosy and Ken! Well maintained toilets, showers and washing up area, cold water only. Each campsite has its own fire place which can also be used for BBQ. Awesome place. No bugs whatsoever. Couple of cockatoos woke us up the next morning :). Day use park right next to it (where the 30min walk to Tjaynera falls start).
Best campsite in Lichfield, get away from the crowds and have the falls to yourself at sunset, nice 30min walk. Small river crossing so need 4wd but was less than 0.4m in sept. Only downside lots of bugs at night so build a fire or get inside netting.
We have. Spent one night Before coming to this campsite make sure you can cross the creek (we water was 0.5 m away) The toilets and shower are ok Not badly flies (but I guess it's the season) Indeed the falls are 30 min walk, pleasant walk.
Wow, this is the best camping area in the national park that I have stayed in so far with showers! ! And the facilities are perfect, you can hear the sound of the waterfall at night?????
Very nice spot ! Toilets very clean, showers :-) the waterfall is 30 minutes walkings. We had this one just for us. Big hole to swim, the most at Litchfield ! You need to check of the fire is permitted or not
Nice campground, out the way and quiet. Wonderful walk to arguably the best falls in lichfield.
Nice campground, only cold showers but modern amenities. The tapwater has a bit of brownish color so boil before drinking. It was full last night(Friday eve)
