A 4.8km long circular route around the Bird Billabong is worthwhile. We were alone there and were able to observe black kites, white herons, sulphur-crested cockatoos, ducks, giant storks and many other birds from the bird hide. Worth mentioning are the very beautiful blue water lilies. I thought it was great.
