Good camp ground Grass areas and lot of shade.Quiet location behind tavern. Pool was clean and refreshing They have a big Croc on location to look at. Would recommend but I didn’t eat at tavern because it looked a bit like greasy food
Good ammenities, good pricing, pub seemed alright (we didn't eat there as we already had dinner sorted). The chick on reception was really switched on and helpful. They have a few animals as an attraction piece on the side. It was a bit strange. The poor pig had the tinniest pen and no water. The Water Buffalo had a decent enclosure, one of them is albino! They also had a freshwater croc pen, which we could only see a turtle in. And they had a Saltwater croc too. A pretty big fella, probably on 5m. The salty looked extremely sad, his pool would have barely fit him and he looked miserable. I am no animal activist and I don't mind chowing down on a good steak, but I definitely felt saddened. That said I don't actually know the situation, they could be rescue animals???
Nice enough camping, showers ok, pub meals were nice, the nightly meal was roast pork and roast vegetables was $15:50 and a big serve. The pool is dirty and unusable.
Manager busy dealing with new staff mentioned he would prefer people to book online before turning up ☹️ I don’t think most people using this site like to roll like that - just a guess..Site still green and shady. Pool and shower block was welcome. It has crocs in pens for tourists to gawk at. Tavern looked busy but we didn’t eat there
Good place, nice staff, little pool and hot shower. We stayed two night, it's was perfect!
Good price, 17 per car unpowered Basic but clean facilities No kitchen Generator at night, what makes it a little difficult to sleep Good enough to spend the night on the way in or our to Kakadu
17$/car, very cheap for 4 people 4,25 each! Nice bar with restaurant and bottle shop.
$17 unpowered for two people, great price and not too far from the entrance to Kakadu National Park, great for those early morning starts. Pool, showers and toilets all available. Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere and super friendly staff !
Great little atmospheric tavern. $17 for two unpowered. Spacious area in which to park up. This is also where you can get picked up for the Wetlands Cruise. Amenities are basic.
