We stayed here for 2 weeks, because our car broke down. Its a great Campground with firepits with BBQ, Clean toilets and clean hot showers, drinking water. we found thundereggs and got them them cut in the shop where you can buy beatiful rocks, snacks and drinks aswell. VERY! Kind owners and lovely camp Dog called Bobby. We will definietly comeback again! Perfect place for camping outside Rockhampton, and a great view from MT Hay aswell. 25 AUD for unpowered site👍

Exceptional place with 2 magnificent viewpoints, very kind owner, drinking water, hot and clean shower, very clean toilets, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and somewhat remote place near Rockhampton.

Lovely little family owned campsite and business. We came for the campsite but even gave the fossicking a go, was good fun and we got some pretty stones to take home with us. Had all the facilities you need, including a washing machine. We were unlucky with the rain but I can imagine it would be even nicer with the sun. Steep dirt track to get up but was fine in a 2WD campervan. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

Rustic camping but quite suitable for why you go there. Managers are great people and a wealth of knowledge. $25 p. N powered site , extra $25 p.p. For fossicking, includes cutting of 2 or 3 rocks. Bore water only, so bring your own drinking water. Good gift shop, many rock displays and sales available.

Very rustic but serviceable shower, toilet and laundry areas. Peaceful bushland setting with fire pits. Beautiful views. Don is a wealth of information on thundereggs. Would stay there again.
