Arrived early in small campervan, told unpowered sites too muddy so charged for (muddy) unslabbed powered site. In industrial zone beside Bruce highway and equally noisy arterial road. Insufficient amenities for very crowded site, always busy. By nightfall toilets looked like dysentery ward and some creepy weirdos around, though most campers friendly. Leave early, like Tetris trying to get out with people hitching up and idiots parking on narrow road near amenities block. Wouldn't recommend.
$40 a night for powered site. Not the most expensive travelling from Brisbane to Cairns but one of the more expensive powered sites (we were very frugal). Dryer did not dry our clothes at all and a few residents in a ute were a bit weird making tongue gestures to my fiancée?! But as the park goes itself it was okay. For people doing campervan relocations, you're better off going further to Rockhampton to the country club accommodation.
Super campsite. Our favourite in 12 days. Super friendly, everyone stopped for a chat, lovely spacious site, 38 dollars for hook up. Squeaky clean facilities. Woolworth’s and most amazing aquatic centre with heated 50m pool, round the corner. Perfect for an admin stop to get lots of stuff sorted before onwards travel (even got to the chiropractors round the corner)!
Good site, not really in walking distance of anywhere but clean facilities and some nice lounge areas with games, books and a TV. As a passing through campsite this was fine.
Excellent park. We stopped there on our way north and then when we returned south (we travel with an SUV). Amenities old but always clean. Everything pretty quiet. The kitchen is well equipped. We first booked a powered site and it was small but okay. The second time we booked unpowered and the area was really extensive. Great 4G signal with Telstra and Optus (we use it to work online). The receptionist was very kind.
The park was tidy and nice. The price is very good. Toilets, showers and kitchen were clean. We had good 4G signal with Telsim reception. It has power. There is a laundry. We didn't get to use the pool.
Nice place. Toilet and shower is very clean☺️They have laundry and kitchen area. It's $4 for laundry. Staff is very kind. Swimming pool also very clean!
Fair I suppose. Clean and neat as others have pointed out. The downside are, you must ask for wifi and unlike other places, they have hidden the garbage bins. Places I've been to have a garbage and recycling bin every couple of sites. The only one I could find was in the kitchen.Other than that, enjoyed the pool. Welcome respite from the heat. Plenty of grey nomads with caravans and permanent sites in this park.
Really Good! We arrived after 6pm and there was a number to call, though. It’s very clean, organised, actually one of the best amenities (in remote caravan parks) I’ve seen after 4 weeks traveling around Australia. And it’s very quiet during night!
Great camp. Clean, good sites, plenty of room and nice clean amenities. Would stay again.
