Interesting place, lots of trees in the water. And coconuts on the sand :-) But we didn't see any dugongs (12/2024)
Great stop
A long beach, with toilet and picnic area. The dugongs live here, but are usually not visible from the beach. You would have to be on the water with a kayak and be lucky. In the Australian summer it is deserted there.
It's a nice and different looking beach with all the trees in the water, but I think you can't swim. They have a cute little shop there as well with some self-made food and clothes and other stuff. Picnic tables, bbq, playground and toilets are available.
This is just a stand, not a real sanctuary
Very creepy place. Not a soul anywhere but lots of warning signs about sharks, crocodiles and jellyfish. You can also apparently encounter dingoes here. Be careful and keep your eyes open!
Beautiful view of the sea with mangrove trees. Didn’t see any danger but you can find warning signs around (sharks, crocodiles, box jelly fish) > be wise, be careful ! Also didn’t see any dulong :(
Great spot!! Great view!!
Nice area for a stop. The tide was pretty low so we could walk far out on the sand and there were toilets and bbqs and shaded areas to rest
Very beautiful view on the sea and sand. Like Whitsunday.... Also facilities for picnic. Do the stop here. It's great
