If you look this up other places it is called the “wheel of fire” track. Unfortunately this trail has been closed since May 2025 due to storm damage.

Ok. The walk is longer then expected (1-2h). You definitely need no long pans because it is pretty exhausting with the air full of moisture. There are some leeches as well. But you have a nice few and it is probably a nice swimming spot too.

Definitely do this! It’s beautiful there. Can be crowded but there is lot of space.

Nice place where you can swim but becareful, we have a campervan and there are rivers to cross and big crevasses on the road. We were not safe.

Stunning gorge and rainforest walk. The Wheel of Fire is the best swimming place. In summer it is great for a swim but you end up heating up again on the walk back!
