Lovely quiet spot to set up. Big spacious area. Has a dump point.

Should be marked Free./Green icon. Toilets are in a park overlooking the nearby lake about a 5 minute walk away from the entrance

As others have said. Large Showgrounds area. Donations accepted, need to fill in form on arrival. Dump point. Good mobile coverage, but almost zero shade. Anyway, thanks so much to council !

Council checked! Free, but self-contained only (have to have black water tank/cassette toilet, shower) as no facilities available, have to sign and declare as such with a registration form to display. Dump point, potable water and quiet.

There was no cost to stay at all. Good place to stay up to 7 nights. We enjoyed Hughenden but I reckon the Lake they are building is a waste if time. The money would be better spent on the towns roads.

Yeh, I agree. Very dusty as works are going on next to area. $6 per night pay at the visitors centre in the main street.m

Had a look at the site. Large area on dirt. Would not like to be there in rain. No amenities short walk to town center. Ok.
