Beautiful en open campsite near by restaurant, coffeeshop and store. Hot showers and toilets, a sink to do some laundry or dishwash, all very clean. Bbq and picknickplaces. Some parrots which came for some nuts. Wallabies around you. Booking online. Beautiful walkingtracks, beware of the stingertrees. The're always people who come by night and leave early in the morning so they don't have to pay. Why do you do that? It's a cheap campsite.

Green grass and plenty of area (not a busy time). Make sure you display your NP pass. Walking track easy to follow as you walk the 9km loop. Had a friendly visit by a King Parrot as we ate a snack on the track.

Very crowded during this post-covid camping frenzy- booked a site while in Kingaroy but when I turned up the place was overbooked, and just had to leave or end up rubbing elbows with fellow caravaners all night. Queensland Parks need to sort this booking problem out.

Hot shower. Seems like you sneak into the home of wallabies. Good walking ir trekking course. Very spacious. One thing i feel sad was my gazebo, which is spoiled because of strong windovernight.(it was cheap one) still it's great experience to stay here.

Great location right in the NP. Many wallabies, toilet facility clean, only $ 6.50 pp. Reservation in walking distance in the General Store possible.

As the hot water is solar go easy using it so everyone gets a hot shower not washing dishes under hot funning water as I saw some wastefully doing. The grass is kept well manicured by the numerous wallabies. The barbecues are well kept and free now. A great place to visit. Bring your red lidded bushmans spray to keep off ticks on your hikes.
