Poplar flat and mana gum are both flattish grass ovals next to each other. Telstra phone signal disappeared about 10km from camp so book your camp before arriving. Drop toilets. Lots of birds including satin bower birds, superb and variegated fairy wrens, a tree snake and fire flies. Short drive and walk to Sylvester’s lookout is a beautiful rainforest walk with a great view and red flower spikes on the cliff in spring
Beautiful and quiet campsite. We saw some wallabies and a bird who stole our bread?. No shower, 7 toilets and watertaps. Walkingtracks near the campsite. A dirth road to the campsite.
Awesome camp site. Nice and spacious (there were only a few campers when I was there, but it might get busy). Some really nice walks starting from the camp :)
Stayed overnight, compost toilets, no running water, nice hikes and heaps of campgrounds near by. This campsite is the furtherest, must take a dirt track to get there, be careful if it rains as mud potholes are big and crossover two creek paths. We did in a campervan, but I would not recommend for small cars or low to the ground cars. Campsite has fire stove pits available at certain sites. A small store, coffee, ice and firewood can be located at Gordon Country campsite.
Self registration. There is also poplar flat campsite nearby on same road. Drop toilets at both . Excellent walks start from mana camp. Nearest supplies about 6km away at commercial campground. You can pre book online but this is only needed xmas or easter as lots of room
