Rang Friday before checking in on Saturday to ask about mice. Told some mice but not to worry. On arrival on Saturday sign out front of office saying no power Sunday 8.30am to 4.30pm we're not told this on Friday when we rang, they were told the power would be off on the Wednesday. Nice Park but lack of communication from staff.
Nice spot plenty of room. Very clean facilities. But there are mice at the moment so bring your mouse traps with you.
Nice place to stay. The pool is big and there is a good playground. Only thing that was a bit disturbing is to have 2 maintenance guys entering the female toilet block at about 6.45am. We had king parrots visiting us which was amazing.
Nice campsites facilities clean COVID compliance. Dam 16% full. Towing the boat but unfortunately won’t be using it here.
Nice and clean. Stayed for 4 days,no fish or redclaw.
First we’d stay here for just one night. But we were so happy that we’ve asked to stay another night. Very friendly staff. Nice walking around the dam. Great environment. And the amenities were new and clean! Lovely place! I also recommend “dusty hills” to have some lunch and “hidden gold homestead” for diner in the weekend or Sunday breakfast. We’ve had a great experience here!
Stayed 3 nights. Well spaced neat and tidy sites, most with slabs for vans but some grass. There is a large space for unpowered or camping. Campfires were allowed when we stayed and wood could be purchased from the kiosk. Bring a small hatchet as some pieces can be large and there is no kindling provided. Amenities are large, modern & clean. Fishing in the lake is permitted but you must have a permit which can be purchased for a small fee in nearby Murgon.
Only stayed here for one night, but it’s a really nice spot to camp. The pitches are open and spread out and the facilities are very well kept. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
