We didn’t realize there was a $16 ferry fee to enter and another $16 to leave, so keep that in mind when budgeting your trip. Before arriving at the campsite, we also had to buy supplies from a nearby store where everything was at least $5 more expensive than regular supermarket prices. That said, we had a really peaceful stay. The campsite is close to the beach, the sites are beautiful, and you can have a campfire as long as you bring your own fire pit. We saw lots of birds, reptiles, and kang
Enjoyed our night stay here, had kangaroos just outside our camper van which we were amazed by (we’re from Ireland). Literally minutes from the beach and plenty of amenities on site. What we didn’t realise was that you had to get a ferry boat over and back which is 16 dollars each way so should be factored in the cost
Highly overpriced at $63 AUD for a powered site and $48 for an unpowered one—not worth it at all. The showers have long queues at all times, and while the amenities are clean, there aren't enough to accommodate the campers. However, the location is fantastic—very close to the sea, though quite remote from the city
We were aiming for Noosa River site, but didn't get in. Nervously went for this for the 2nd night in a massive motorhome! Only here for 1 night but so glad we ended up here... Ferry was easy. Facilities were absolutely spot on. But the scenary... Right from the ferry... What a place... Beautiful. Best place we stopped. Just make sure you have the provisions you need
Such a beautiful spot. Easy to reach (beware of the ferry but not a challenge). Clean amenities, close to the beach. We were lucky watching whales from the shore. Highly recommend.
Very nice campsite! Great outdoor atmosphere. Wonderful nature, quiet, direct access to beautiful beach! The toilets and showers were new and very clean. I can highly recommend it 👌
Magnificent campsite in the heart of nature and a stone's throw from the ocean. We saw kangaroos there. There is everything you need (showers, toilets, kitchen, etc.). Accessible by a $10 one-way ferry.
Perfect site right beside the beach. Beach unpatrolled but calm when we were there.
Great site, a little expensive but because it’s top quality amenities.
very nice campground and location, just next to the beach. both male and female showers had free hot water. toilets were clean. kitchen is big, with free bbq, sinks, one freezer and one big fridge. unpowered site 1 night: 39$. Check out 10am.
