A lil pricey but it’s ok if you consider the location. Pool and bar area are great! Restrooms and kitchen are clean and staff if young and warm!
Great! Social place with a lovely pool and a nice restaurant. The showers and kitchen were clean. We stayed here for two nights. There was a koala in the tree, and every now and then a walibi hopped past our camper. The beach is within walking distance. We paid $44 per night, including electricity and water.
Friendly, good infrastructure like swimming pool, toilets, shower, kitchen and laundry
Is it a bar or a camping? Can’t sleep because of the music coming from the bar just near the camp sites...
I think the other comments are out of date. Yes, the campsite is rather expensive at 50$ for a pitch without electricity, but you should bear in mind that we are on an island that is practically a complete national park. The staff were incredibly nice, the bathrooms and showers very clean, large and new. There is reliable wifi everywhere on the site and there is a clean pool to relax in. There is also a large and great communal area and a bar. 10/10
This may be the only place to camp on the island but even so, in my opinion it is simply not worth $55 to camp unpowered in what is nothing more than a gravel car park. The cone system is also odd, and a bit of a joke that you have to pay a deposit for a cone. You’re better off staying in one of the bungalows. Per other reviews, the facilities are very dirty. Friendly staff, but not in a rush to do anything. All that said this is the best side of the island to be on and the location is hard to beat.
Bathrooms were so filthy. Swimming pool and swimming pool area as well. A shame cause it is a nice place and I believe the only one where you can camp. Close to the best beach on the island as well
Very nice reception and location. It wasn’t a bad place for a couple of nights. However there’s much they could improve. It needs a good clean, especially in the toilets and laundry area which is very messy and dirty. There’s many ants/bugs in the amenities building which we found pretty annoying. A bit overpriced for what they offer but it’s the only camping in the island.
Beautiful camping however a bit expensive. Paid for 2 ppl unpower. Loads of wallabies and birds around, nice small pool. Wifi limited to 500mb a day, however only worked the 1st day. Toilets ok. Camp kitchen very nice and clean. No freezer but 2 big fridges. Kettle, toaster, knifes and basically everything you need to cook, which was very nice. Would recommend.
Really nice camping ! Lot of wildlife around :) amenities clean ! Lot of space, pool really nice, except WiFi which is limited but everything was good ! People are young and from all countries. I highly recommend
