A good campsite for the price. No issues at all with great hot showers
Definitely the cheapest in cairns however agree with other posts regarding the feeling of this place. They give you a leaflet on crime prevention when you arrive and there are crime prevention stickers placed everywhere. We didn’t have any issues whilst staying here but later paid extra and stayed at the Ingenia park which felt safe and much more enjoyable. No wifi unless you go to reception
The price is really great! But I can only agree with the other reviews; the atmosphere is very strange. It's almost exclusively permanent tenants and workers. There's hardly a vacation feeling and lots of strange characters. Laundry is incredibly expensive; we did our laundry locally. Wi-Fi is only available at reception.
Very old sanitary facilities that lack cleanliness. Poorly equipped kitchen. Socket on site that does not work.
$40 per night for 2 people with electricity. Clean showers, toilets, and kitchen in front of the campsite for campervan users. However, there are many permanent residents… the atmosphere is very strange. Not very secure — my swimsuit was stolen from the clothesline.
Nice campsite. You pay $40 for one night. Showers and toilets are clean.
$40 dollars for 2 people, big area, little kitchen, laundry, plenty of toilets and hot showers. Powered site. Although the office was closed at night we could check in without problem.
Unfortunately, this campsite was the only one available near Cairns city. When we checked in we assumed it would cost between $30-40 per night. Unfortunately they then charged $52 per night, which surprised us a bit... The sanitary facilities, as well as the washing machine and dryer, work perfectly and are in order. The campsite is neat and clean but not very modern.
No good, still people roaming around at night trying to get into our doors while we’re asleep, luckily only had a bag of goon stolen. Don’t come here, unsafe area and zero security.
We spent 4 night in this camperground and It was good. The amenities were old but clean. The camp kitchen was full equipped. One bad point the manager was not friendly with us almost like a robot. There is a bus stop to the city close to the camping.
