One of my favourite campsites ever. Secluded, quiet, private. Exceptional facilities. Plenty room for everyone. The loveliest owner. The land is large with plenty wildlife to spot. Felt like staying in the jungle itself. Plus there's a local shop and a petrol station at the gate.
Amazing spot with clean kitchen and bathroom facilities. Outdoor shower 🤩 Beautiful gardens and hang out spots available too. We stayed 2 nights and upgraded to a premium mountain view site for the 2nd night which was worth the extra money. Cassowary sometimes seen here too (we were lucky to see them on our 2nd night). Totally recommend!
Amazing views and very quiet . We had a very nice stay in the rainforest.
Beautiful, well-maintained campsite. Clean restroom and good showers. Gas station and well-stocked small shop at the entrance. Friendly welcome. Poor to no network.
Very beautiful clean campground. Great views. Came here on a cycle tour got a nice grassy tent site.
Daintree Rainforest Village update for 2024. We have taken your old reviews onboard. You will love the beautiful upgrades to bathrooms, camp kitchen, and camp sites. New additions are an awesome fire circle with free wood, free wifi, secluded 4WD campsites, & campsites with amazing mountain views. We changed to pet free zone & the wildlife has returned. Cyclone Jasper forced us to close the camp during 2024. We are working tirelessly to reopen in 2025. Safe travels, we hope to see you next year.
Beautiful location. Stayed in the ‘Pent House’ campsite... Well worth the extra $. Private and had the most amazing view. Get in early for a beautiful sunset. Long walk to the bathrooms though. Friendly staff and wood provided for campfire. Bathrooms were a little dated, but very clean and great water pressure. Camp kitchen was great... Best we’ve come across. Beautiful big trees in the property with swings. Great atmosphere and sites are well spaced.
Beautiful tropical gardens in the camp ground, nice bathrooms and camp kitchen, hill to walk up and they have big swings. Petrol/convenience store is also where you check in for the caravan park. Nice enough spot! Check in closes at 5pm so if you’re doing a last min booking (like we did) make sure you ring ahead and check if they have space and if they’re open :)
We loved this place. Bathroom was a bit old. But the swing on the tree and view from the top of the hill was epic! Highly recommend staying here!!
Nice place. There is no hot water in the kitchen to wash the dishes. Besides at night the mechanical ventilation (or whatever it is) of the store is very noisy. The fridge in the kitchen was out of order.
