When we arrived at 5:30 pm, the campsite was full. It's best to call ahead to reserve a spot.
The whole ground is closed
Reasonably priced considering it’s only 25 minutes from Cairns centre. Good amenities and overall a clean site. Only problem was the homeless living in the woods were drinking and screaming until 2am
Not free. But quite cheap. Quite friendly custodian. Clean and many toilets. If you are staying in Cairns for a few days definitely recommend as it is close and cheap. Hot showers cost $2 (in 1$ coins) and run for 4 minutes from the second you turn it on and doesn't stop. So soap up quickly. Very easy to find and fairly quiet
Don’t stay here - lots of drunkard permanents who play music and yell at each other all night
Decent location, but there was a little road noise from the bridge overhead. Amenities are excellent in cleanliness and quality. The caretakes were very friendly and welcoming. However its not a massive area, so get there early if possible.
No longer free. $10 per night plus an additional $2 per person.
its open again but the owner changed. they charge 10$ per night now
Great tidy site run by CMCA so discounted for CMCA members custodian on site to take site fees! Showers hot by coin box p/ minute. More info on site here : https://rvparks.cmca.net.au/Home/RVParkDetailedView?siteUid=303ce5d5-ba0d-4a0d-bc6c-24eff4a6451c
Signs still up that it's closed, but there were a few campers and I could hear a people having a party by the creek.
