A fine place too stay if it wasn't for the backpackers next to the park. They put us, a family with kids, right next to the backpackers bar. We stayed on a weekday, but there was a big party on. We couldn't get to sleep until one in the morning. The owner said it couldn't be helped since it was tourist season (even though its winter here). But knowing this, they could have at least told us this when I inquired for a booking and put us somewhere else. This was not a nice surprise. Nice pool.
The city has high season and the place was great. You walk about 15 minutes to the city center. They were all very friendly and helpful. Wifi reception due to the full space is not really good.
A tad expensive, but the going rate for port Douglas. It was good for 1 night, but the low powered sites were a taste odd as it was literally a plug and nkt very well marked. But I enjoyed it for 1 night.
Friendly staff but lots of mosquitos. Also, we had to endure a terrible smell on the site. Bathroom facilities are OK but not great.
Super nice staff. Excellent showers. Camp kitchen clean, good WiFi.
Nice stay. Good location. Shower and toilets are cleaned. Kitchen very spacious.
Very pleasant stay here. We were using an unpowered site for around $40 - turned up without booking and there was plenty of space. Staff were friendly, showers and kitchen area were great
You do pay a bit more for this site but we enjoyed staying here for 4 nights. Toilets and showers very clean. Washing machines need 4 x $1 coins. Easy 15 min walk to Port Douglas. Good amount of space between pitches.
Nice place close to everything. A bit pricey for the conditions of the amenities, but I believe it's normal in Port Douglas. The backpackers next door can be noisy but nothing that a couple of earplugs can fix. Will definitely be back when in Port Douglas.
Okay spot for one night, nice camp kitchen facilities and pool was warm and lovely Nothing terribly special but great location :)
