Good place to stay for a night in Cape Tribulation! Very kind people 😀
Very nice location in the Rain Forrest. $20 unpowered spot for 1 person or $30 for 2 is a good price. Hot showers, good camp kitchen and a good bar. Telstra full signal. No wifi. Defo recommended!
Don’t really understand the many negative comments. We really like the place. Bar is cool, beautiful pool area and just a cool place. We payed for a night of unpowered camping, bit expensive, but for the facilities I reckon it’s alright.
It’s now open. Been open for 5 weeks.
Still closed. Seems like to have some construction happening around?

Closed for Covid.
No professional at all and they did not even look at you when you ask them someyhing! Kitchen dirty. Too expensive. We paid 42 for unpowered.
More like a young backpackers place. Not clean and no coffee machine working
We have no high expectations, but we never experienced any facilities this dirty. The guest kitchen was very dirty, especially ants and dusk all over the place where we wanted to prepare food. Even worse we’re the toilets and showers, which obviously haven’t been cleaned in several days/weeks. No space on the ground where we could place a foot without standing on dead bugs and flies. Especially the sinks were really dirty, black sparkles all over. This wasn’t dirt left by guests, but dusk, flies and mud which hasn’t been cleaned for a very long time. Over the showers we saw nets with spiders bigger than our hands. For 25 $ a night just inaccaptable! ? As we talked to the staff about our experience they left us waiting for 2,5 h to talk to the manager, but in the end we couldn’t even talk to him, not even on the phone. In general they were very rude as we complained. I would never go there again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
