Had an amazing day, the highlight of my two-week FNQ holiday. Small tour size made it easy to meet people and engage with the guides. The reef was absolutely pristine and plenty of beautiful coral and animals (including turtles and rays). 100% recommend to everyone

An absolutely amazing activity. Definitely the highlight of a 3 week trip up the Qld coast. We have snorkelled and dived many Qld reeves over the years but due to the nature of only Ocean Safari touring this spot it is pristine. There is no sign of coral damage or bleaching. Much more colourful then for example the reef at Heron Island. The other plus for this tour compared to other reef tours is the small size. When you take a trip from Cairns or Whitsundays you have massive amounts of people on the boat and snorkelling with you the reef whereas up here with Ocean Safari Cape Trib. It’s only a small group that snorkels the reef which is super pleasant. So it is definitely worth every cent!!! So do not miss the opportunity to take this trip. The team was super friendly and helpful and the boat ride was fantastic. They even had flippers masks and wetsuits to suit my 6 year old - who loved it so much she never wanted it to stop! You will spot an incredible amount of sea life both from the boat and during your snorkelling experience. The only one thing I missed was some education around the importance of reef safe sunscreens at booking as I’ve seen people apply non safe sun screens prior to meeting the guides and getting their suits so they should be made aware at booking of the trip and reminded upon checkin. Also it a missed opportunity to encourage people to become reef protectors and giving them maybe one or two actions they can take in their daily lives - signed petitions, reduce plastics, etc Being the only reef tour on this part of National Park I probably expected some conservation type education. Other then that an incredible experience!!!!

One of the best experiences I have done in Australia! It only takes 25 mins to get to the reef! I was in the water for 5 mins and I was surrounded by 3 turtles! We were in the water for 2 hours and back by midday!! It only a half day so I could also check out the rest of Cape Trib. SERIOUSLY you need to check this tour out! I can see why it is award winning!!! I wil be back!!!!
