Title: Dirty facilities and poor maintenance – not worth the price We were very disappointed with this campground. They claim the bathrooms are cleaned regularly, but they were filthy, full of bugs, and clearly neglected. There wasn’t even paper tissue, which made the experience even worse. We paid $54 for a powered site, which is completely overpriced for the level of hygiene and care provided. For that cost, you expect at least clean bathrooms and basic supplies.
Pretty good location, friendly staff and good facilities. Easy bike ride on to city centre & nice walking track nearby. Only Downside was we had not been warned upon booking/arrival that the kitchen etc was closed & was still charged full rate which is already on the expensive side.
Nice spot for stay close to the center, very friendly staff, helpful... Amenities are clean!
Great staff. Totally recommend to stay here if you are in Adelaide.
Reception 10/10. Lots of good advice, plans. A very welcoming person received us with a smile. Well maintained park, blowing leaves? ?, raking gravel and impeccable sanitation. Bus ? for Adelaide in front of the park to be in the city center in a few stops. 10% discount for Apollo customers. Remember to be happy
Good park. Management very helpful. We needed to put our van in for repairs and staff were very helpful and understanding. Amenities are clean. Cabins are comfortable. The park is on the city bus route. We bought a 3 day Metro pass and travelled by bus to the city, tram to Glenelg, and train to Brighton over the 3 days. We had already been to Hahndorf, but that was an option also on the pass. Walking distance, 1.2km, to Woolworths.
Very nice campground. Close to the city, bus to downtown right at the campground entrance. Nice and clean amenities. Very helpful staff, have an information bag ready at check-in with all information about Adelaide, bus schedule,...
The Koala is really there. Nice sites surrounded by trees and flowers. We have made 7500 km and seen many Caravan Parks but this was the quietest of all even though it is located close to the City. Best Management ever met . Helped us with helmets for bicycle driving and even with a bottle of red wine... Thanks so much. We had three wonderful nights.
Reasonably priced at $44 per night for 2 adults in a powered site. Unpowered sites are for tents only. Close to the CBD. Approx 20min drive to Rundle Mall/ Adelaide Central Markets. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Provided us with a map of the park and instructions to get to the CBD, catch a bus, etc. Clean facilities. Indoor camp kitchen, giant outdoor chess, playground, oval. Showers were hit and miss. Some had reasonable pressure and some where quite weak. Hard to get temp right. Wifi is limited to 500MB per device per day. Pets welcome. Must always be on a lead. Please pick up after them. You just have to sign an extra piece of paper.
Absolutely great campsite. Nice staff, toilets / showers / kitchen extremely clean. We stayed 5 nights on a powered site as the unpowered sites unfortunately have no shadow. Great praise ! $ 44 / day powered $ 42 / day unpowered
