this was one of our favourite spots of our trip. get a grass spot just behind the sand dunes. enjoy the sunset there and have a swim. great atmosphere, few spots with a lot of bush around, so it doesn’t feel crowded. well maintained toilets and basic outdoor shower. short drive into the campground on a sandy road, but easily doable, also with a 2WD. highly recommend
Amazing place to enjoy the coast around. Good shower, beautifull kitchen and really nice outside. Go there dont hesitate!!
We love this park! Julie ( owner ) is great. We have stayed here several times and we'll keep coming back. It is in need of a renovation, but it is clean and mostly quiet. We highly recommend this quaint little park.
We loved our stay at Julie's! Close to the beach and with a large kitchen, sufficiently clean shower toilet! $25 in Power or $20 in Unpowered, what more could you ask for! We will come back with pleasure!
Great place to be, we can highly recommend it. Very close to the beach, great landscape and nice walks around. Clean facilities and a very friendly owner. You feel like visiting a friend. 20$ unpowered, 25$ powered. Good equipped camp kitchen and many activities to do in the tv room.
Absolutely recommendable! It was one of the best campsites on our trip. The site is small but has everything you need and is also super affordable. Not to mention the beautiful beach (a 2-minute walk) and stunning hiking trails right along the coast. And if that's not enough, you can see the Milky Way at night under a clear sky. The owner is friendly and very helpful. We'd love to come back!
Beautiful spot at $20 per night unpowered, $25 powered. Nice and cozy, not very busy after the Christmas and Aussie day season so my partner and I had the run of the place to ourselves. Huge rec hall with massive TV, table tennis & pool table. Even a piano and guitar too. Because it was so quiet I plugged my laptop into HDMI in the TV and we had a movie night both nights which was great! Shower is free for patrons, kitchen is right next door. Laundry is $4 for washing and $3 for drying. Julie the owner is so sweet and makes you feel right at home. Because it’s an older place there are parts that could be cleaner but it definitely has a great charm about it. Super close to a great walk around the cape and the beautiful beaches!
I Think this is one of the best campinggrounds I've been on my whole great ocean road trip! It's very cheap 20$ for two persons for an unpowered site. The beach is 2 minutes by foot and incredibly beautiful! the campsite is tiny for like 6 caravans or cars but this is more an advantage. There is also a beautiful walk to the cape and less tourism. If you want a nice quiet stay for one night this is the perfect opportunity and it's cheap! don't miss it!
