It’s a good location for Cradle Mtn and central plateau and lakes. Hotel proprietor and staff really friendly, food excellent and extensive bar choices if you fancy a tipple by the huge fireplace. It was a cold place (Tasmanian summer but mountain region;) so we most appreciated the powered site and very hot showers welcome.

Not the most scenic campsite but very beautiful nearby. $20 for powered site. Free showers (and complimentary shampoo and towels) Nearby hotel good food, very friendly and open fires. Useful as it snowed! (1st November 2024)

Lovely place. Friendly staff. Paid for powered site - they had none left but went out of their way to make room and run power to us regardless ? definitely recommend if you're looking for easy and comfortable place. But it's bloody cold!! ❄️❄️?

Great spot in the back of a hotel/pub. They charge $ per car and that includes hot showers which are the best showers ever, better than most hotel room showers and no timer! There are also public toilets closer to the car park next to a small fuel shop which also sells supplies. Pub seems great, you can eat or grab a drink in there too

Great bar and bistro area with wood fire places making it very Cozy. Big venue nice staff. We’ll worth a stop.

We were fortunate enough to have full snowfall when we stayed here, it was breathtaking. The site was good, there’s only 6 of them so it’s not crowded. Food at the bar was nice, very relaxing vibe, cute doggo lives there so got to give it some pats. Not bad overall, a good option for a stopover.

6 powered sites @ $20 A night. Showers and toilets close by and Wi-Fi to hotel ( password is on the wall in pub) Friendly publican, not problems.

Great please to kick back great food and cold beer , the view is not to bad neither
