What an absolute shit hole, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES STAY THERE. There must be trade description laws in tasmania, if so this is taking the piss. Its pretty much in the middle of a building site with absolutely nothing There, portacabins for shower ( and they were locked). Nothing to do or see, dusty, manky and over priced 45 dollars and 5 dollars booking fee for online booking. Absolute joke of a place , totally spoiled my trip to hobart. The authorities should shut this place down.

This place is horrible. The place is pure cement, the showers are paid, there is no kitchen, no garbage cans, no trees, it's like camping in the Coles parking, but uglier and more expensive.

Second time spending the night. Great facilities, toilets are clean and well supplied with paper towels, toilet paper, hot and cold water. No timed showers which is fantastic.

Paid $40, free unlimited hot showers, power and grey water. Sight was a flat, concrete slab. Felt safe for small family.

Not suitable for a family. Just an unattended gravel car park on the far side of the Showgrounds with a couple of down on their luck permanents. Charged for unpowered grey water spot & felt pretty uneasy when we arrived. We ended up driving to New Norfolk Caravan Park 25 mins further out of town which was lovely.

Large campground with plenty of powered and unpowered sites. Clean toilets and showers. $2 for hot shower token, 5minutes each. Well equipped camp kitchen! Office closed on weekend so had to book online.

Big open space. Booking online charges a 5$ booking fee. Showers are now 2$ for 5 mins. Many showers available. There is now a change machine for shower token outside of the administration office so if you arrive after close time you can still get token to shower!

Stay one night power +water site. Charged booking fee. Due to covic the site is not packed, clean. A bit disappointed could not take a shower as we arrived quite late the office is closed cant change a koten coin for shower. If you want to take shower remember change koten coins before the office close.

Sites unclearly marked, paid for power and water that weren’t readily available - extension cord needed as well as long hose to meet water. Now for the scary part... We were verbally abused by random person who has setup permanent residence. Had a drunk man prowl outside our camper and when my partner went to use the toilet in the night. I have reached out for a refund and gotten no response. This place is not safe.

Pretty terrible but if you have to sleep somewhere its a place to park for fee
