Amazing place. Surroundings were amazing with kangaroos all over the place. Nice green area and large spots. Great restaurant. Nice amenities.
Welcomed and checked in by bar staff as Reception closed. Site with power for 40AUS, clean facilities, good looking restaurant with wide selection of wines, beers and spirits. A lot of money has been spent making the estate attractive.
Last minute overnight camp for me. Warm showers and flushing toilets a luxury after rough camping. Super friendly and helpful staff. Added bonus of an awesome counter meal at near by pub two mi Ute walk from campsite. Will be back for sure.
Last minute decision to stay here. Such a nice estate with surrounding walks and geese/goats/cows that you can feed. Nice flat grass for use and toilets and amenities were clean. $3 each for use of washing machine and dryer. BBQ facilities for cooking with some lovely wallaby friends around to watch. Playground for kids to use. Recommend going to the restaurant and bar for dinner, we were seated in the Atrium which was lovely, they had the fire place going as well. The steak was so good! The staff were so lovely and friendly as well. You can book tours if you ask in advance.
Private spots with nice landscaping. Plenty of wallabies, goats and other animals jumping around (so plenty of their poop, worth bringing a drop sheet). Amenities ok but would have been nice for a bench in the shower area to put your clothes and toiletries. Highlander Pub shut Mondays. Easy access driving in and out. Expensive for what it is, but not a bad spot to stop.
Well presented 12 powered sites Have to pay to reserve a spot Quiet overlooking paddocks Laundry $3 and dryer $3 Next to highlander pub Waterfall walk on the Estate Clean toilets and showers BBQ area Washing up area in laundry also Estate is lovely
Expensive without proper facilities!!! Not even a kitchen, no drinking water or a shelter area !
Nice lady on the phone. Nice facilities and warm showers price included. It is maybe a bit expensive for one night, but we recommend that area absolutly
Superb! Nice quiet camping ground, grass parking separated by some trees. Just missing WiFi and dump station (for toilet). Kids enjoyed swing and little playground, lots of space to run. Lots of wallabies, ducks. Restaurant (tasty meals) and breakfast in caffe was nice option! Clean showers and toilets. One watching machine and tumble drier. Good stay! ?
Spent two nights at Tarraleah. It’s a nice little site of grass bases with power. Lots of nice walks around and wallabies roam freely throughout the site. There is a small shop in reception selling gifts rather than provisions. If you don’t want to prepare your own food there is the Highlander pub on site which provides nice fare. Great stopping off point between east and west coasts
