Move on! Showers and toilets infested with insects and unfriendly staff. Expensive for this service.
Good bush camping close to Hobart. $20 non powered for 2 ppl. Limited powered sites. Good/free hot showers/ clean toilets. Camp kitchen with microwave and BBQ/ pizza oven available. Capped at 100ppl for the night but they do fill up quick so best to get in early. Great value for only 10 mins from the city!
We stayed 2 nights and then left for Bruny Island for a few days. I sent a message to Jeff who told me that he had unpowered site available for this night. So we took the return ferry and drove for 1 hour, to arrive at 6:00pm to be told that the place was full of capacity and that there was nothing he could do for us. All caravan parks around full.. Darkness in 1 hour.. Not the kindness expected when you were there some nights ago. Don’t go if you want to be sure to have a site for the night
Beautiful bush setting with new facilities, 2 composting toilets and portable water, needs boiling for domestic use. Tranquil big sites in a peaceful surrounding and no I’m not the owner, just a traveler from mainland central west NSW. Cost $40 for two people on an unpowered site a couple of days before Christmas.
Paidfor a powered site. Just a place in the middle of the forest with fireplaces and not really clean toilets.
Great cheap camping site in a pinch for last minute travellers. Toilet facilities is tired though.
Saw couple wallobies in the camping ground:) hot shower free which is good. The camp ground didnt set up site clearly, I was a bit confused when the lady told me where to park. The site is not flat a bit hard to find a good angle pack my caravan
Caretaker was friendly and helpful. Campsite is clean and private. Showers and toilets are a short walk up the hill.
Paid ppl with hot shower(no time limit) Not too much grass but plenty space to set up a tent! Only 15min drive from Hobart city
