We had a very cold night in cradle mountain so we were were happy to stop at this campsite. It was still cold and rainy but the showers were hot and the facilities were clean. For an unpowered site It was only $30. The caretaker was friendly and attended to us immediately when we buzzed him. We found a spacious spot on the grass where we parked our campervan. There were no powered sites available, possibly because there were quite a number of permanents. People were friendly.
At $35 a night, this place is overpriced. We had to wait around for ages as reception wax unattended and contact number wasn’t answering. When I finally spoke to person, they told me I didn’t have a reservation, but then they came and checked the book to find that yes I did. We were put on a site between 2 cabins on a dirt site a fair distance from the amenities. While the amenities were fairly clean, but many showers and toilets were out of action. Seems to be full of permanent residents.
Owner operator super friendly and happy to accommodate at short notice Solo female in camper van felt safe
Very friendly owner / operator. Showers were enough - hot water the main thing! Just stayed the one night.
Super lovely and helpful owners. Showers and toilets clean enough. No frills but didn't need it. Really quiet despite the size and how many people were there. Super close to ocean views too
Very clean amesties and very nice owner. Very good and nice campside.
Clean amenities, but the grounds could most certainly do with a good makeover or clean up!
25$ for 2 people unpowered site. Clean showers and toilets, basic kitchen, laundry for 3$. Spacious sites. Friendly staff.
