Beautiful site in the middle of the pines and right next to a large park (and a hospital). The city center is accessible on foot. Many pitches with shade. The toilets are old but clean. The big negative point is the price, it's too expensive

We stayed at Castlemaine over the Easter long weekend. The amenities were very clean. The caravan park is was lovely and close to restaurants, pubs, brewery etc. The cocktail caravan at the entrance to the park was a fantastic surprise. We will definitely return to this spot.

We stayed on an uneven, sloping, gravel site. Not the best.

Dog friendly, call ahead to clear with Mgt. Good facilities, kid friendly. Great spot for walks with dogs and kids in botanical gardens. New coffee shop and brewery and winery across the road are all friendly and worth a visit
