Despite advertising on the website as having wifi, this is not the case. The "fully equipped camp kitchens" have 2 BBQs, a kettle, a toaster and, a microwave. Not really much good for cooking a meal that isn't barbecue. Barking dogs, screaming kids, and a river barely deep enough to lay down in complete the picture. If not for the fact there are toilets and showers I'd recommend saving your money and sleeping on the side of the road.

Ok bit expensive this time of year but good amenities need to be paid for ?

Conveniently located near Mount Buffalo (one of the most magical mountains in Victoria), a short stroll from Porepunkah and right where the Buckland and Ovens Rivers meet - the park has lots going for it. Although busy at peak times, it still manages to cope with the numbers and has a well equipped modern main amenities block. It is nice seeing a number of well behaved dogs also enjoying there time at this park! We recommend hiring a fire pit for your stay. After our 9 nights we would definitely go back again. WAKs
